PLAYING WITH FIRE

The tactile sensitivity is as much a part of my art as the visual perception. Various techniques are applied to create textures from utilizing cloisonne wires, etching, firing of natural elements onto copper, forging the copper, and sgraffito to compiling pieces together. Both kiln firing and torch firing is used in most pieces.
